Dakota Glass Works Visiting Artist: Dean Smiley

Join us Saturday, April 22nd, from 10AM – 4PM to be a part of our FIRST EVER Visiting Artist Demonstration and LIVE Q+A!

Our NEW Visiting Artist Program allows us to expose our Junior Crew Glassblowing Students and our community to different glassblowing techniques + styles that are unique to each skilled artist.
Our first Visiting Artist Demonstration is with Dean Smiley, a glass artist with over thirty years of experience. Originally from Alberta, Canada, Dean has traveled extensively, searching for the secrets of the glass world. We are so happy to welcome him back for his second visit to spend time with Byron and our Junior Crew.
