Most of you are probably aware that we are a youth-oriented organization with a Junior Crew employment program, but you may not know much about our specific Junior Crew members. Today we want to introduce you to Sula!

Sula is one of our graduating senior Junior Crew members who started with us over three years ago as a STREAM Camper. Sula is known for her creative talents and ambitious spirit. Her creative passions are demonstrated through her love of art, writing, and dance. She is currently a member of the Tabletop Gaming Club, National Honor Society, and Creative Writing club at her high school.
Sula shares, “Working here has helped my self-esteem and talking with new people. My favorite projects I’ve worked on have probably been the Farm 5K, helping at Fall Fest, and all of the mural projects.”
Most recently, Sula has been working closely with the Marketing Department. Her mentor Natalie stated, “Sula is an absolute joy to work with. She has never turned away from a new task and is such a quick learner. She goes above and beyond my expectations for helping with social media planning and editing; plus, she has added lots of fresh input with her artistic mind! Her talents have benefited the marketing department in every way, and I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes in the future. The world is hers!”
Farms Work Wonders Production Kitchen Coming Soon

Sula recently received early admission into her top choice University, Smith College, to attend Fall 2022. We’re so proud of Sula’s accomplishments but will certainly miss her around the farm.

My name is Natalie, I’m one of the original 10 Junior Crew! I currently am completely my M.S in Integrated Marketing Communications at WVU while working for our Marketing Department here at Farms Work Wonders. It has been a full circle of growth for me and I couldn’t recommend this opportunity to local youth, enough!
