Our doors first opened in 2016, on a bright and sunny July Fourth weekend. While we have been fortunate enough to celebrate many holiday weekends with our customers and local community, we will never forget our roots and how we first started out. In the beginning, we had a handful of high school employees, a small garden, one greenhouse, and an outdoor market area. Quite a difference from today, especially considering our award-winning bakery was still only in the planning stages!

We have grown significantly since 2016, but we love to look back and reminisce on where it all began. Our first major projects were a stream and property clean up and a complete renovation of the existing farmhouse and outdoor buildings to create classrooms and office spaces.
After that, we realized that we would need to move our outdoor market to an indoor market, later adding our bakery, and eventually, our famous cinnamon rolls! (Did we mention they’ve won awards for their deliciousness?)
Our farm got upgraded and expanded too, with us installing three high tunnels to grow even more organic and delicious vegetables, goodbye small garden! The farm also boasts three walk-in cooler storage buildings and a state-of-the-art packhouse. Our employees have grown too, from starting out with just 10 of them to the nearly 90 we have today!

But, some things haven’t changed, like being part of an incredible, supportive community and having loyal customers right from the start. We are looking forward to what the next four years will bring, and hopefully more after that.
Thank you for the continued support of our project all these years. We hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday season!
